Machine Learning Paper
In this project, I wrote a research paper providing a brief overview of the field of machine learning, which can be found here. In this paper, I covered subjects such as data requirements, how training a machine learning model works, and the different types of model training that there are (supervised, unsupervised, etc.). The paper serves as a brief, somewhat simplistic introduction to machine learning, so as to avoid overwhelming those who are new to the complex and math-intensive field. Understanding the basics of machine learning through this research paper was crucial to my success in MIS 3580: Artificial Intelligence, and the Independent Research project I completed for the Computer Science department in the Summer of 2021, where I actually developed my first machine learning model using Python.
