Building a resume and cover letter that gets you noticed
On September 18, I attended the “Learn Best Practices Chat with Employers” webinar, an event focused on developing professional communication and job application skills . The session was sponsored by the university’s career services department and featured a panel of industry professionals who shared insights on how to effectively write and format resumes and cover letters. After the panel discussion, participants had the opportunity to join breakout rooms to network and chat directly with employers and fellow students. Through this experience, I gained a clearer understanding of how to tailor my application materials to different roles and present my technical and analytical skills more effectively to potential employers.
