Management Information Systems Tutor
In my position as a Management Information Systems tutor for the Resnick Academic Support Center, tutor Division I student-athletes in Management Information Systems topics including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding, adapt curriculum and content to various student learning styles, communicate with students and coaching staff to accommodate training and travel schedules and develop course material and best practices for content retention and exam preparation.
From this position, I sharpen my own skills in the course content I teach through continuous practice, and I also develop specific collaborative skills in communicating MIS ideas and concepts to others. This helps me in my career as a student and prospective professional because I can easily take these skills into any technological field I go into.
