JOB TITLE: Finance Intern

LOCATION: Tokyo, JAPAN

In the fall of 2013, during my study abroad in Temple’s Japan campus, I interned for two and a half months at Delta Air Lines in the Finance Department. The office is located in the Toranomon business district of Tokyo and while interning there, I had a taste of what it might have been like for the millions of white-collar workers who commute to Tokyo everyday.

During my internship, I assisted with the company’s project internal project by contacting various international vendors in order to obtain the necessary information. I was also exposed to other accounting process, such as expense report, invoicing, and accounts payable aging.
