Airlines are in the process of building new airplanes without the screens on the back of each seat. Airline organizations like American Airlines are setting themselves up on saving millions of dollars by doing so (The Economist, 2017). When a customer purchases a plane ticket, they assume certain accommodations are included with the ticket purchase. One of these accommodations include in-flight entertainment. Our project’s purpose is to solve this problem by providing customers with a free mobile gaming app where they can play mini games, like chess and connect four, against other customers on the same flight. This app will help maintain customer satisfaction and provide an additional source of revenue for the airline.
