Fox IT Awards
Attending the Fox IT Awards, an awards reception honors high achieving students as well as industry leaders, was an enriching and fulfilling experience. I received the 2018 Professional and Academic Achievement Award, an award that recognizes MIS freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are excelling both professionally and academically. This event was important for an MIS professional like myself, as I was able to make connections with both students and faculty and be increasingly motivated to pursue excellence at Temple. I met many of my fellow MIS majors as well as teachers and other staff members that I would most likely run into in the future at this event. In addition, I learned that Temple grants many different types of awards to MIS majors and became increasingly motivated to succeed in the future as a result.
