Career Interests
Project Management
Although the success rates for IT project is on the rise, 14% of IT projects fail outright. Of those that did not fail outright, 31% did not meet their goals, 43% exceeded their initial budgets, and 49% were late (Greene). Through taking Project Management class (MIS 3535), I learned essential concepts and skills to become a great project manager while gaining valuable experience managing a project for engineering students at Temple.
In my last semester, I have taken the next step in improving my project management skill as I accepted an offer to be the Project Management & Software Development Intern at Tapp Network. During my time at Tapp Network, I have learned how to work in a team setting to drive results, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and elicit key requirements to facilitate standardized documentations. In addition, I am also in the process of preparing for the CompTIA certification exam to further improve my project management skills. I believe that my interpersonal skill and my experiences as Project Manager will allow me to contribute significantly to the success of any IT projects.
Website Development
My second career interest is in Website Development, specifically using Content Management System (CMS). I prefer using CMS because of how quickly I can create high quality, visually appealing, and user-experience friendly webpages for clients. Through the two MIS coding classes, I learned the essentials of web development with HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. Using those knowledges, I was able to apply those concepts into transforming Temple Athletics website through reading and implementing the SIDEARM Sports CMS documentations. I also expanded my experience with different CMS by taking on challenging projects such as the Zing Non-functional Prototype using Wix or the Heroic Gardens website using WordPress. Overall, my vast experience with web development and CMS will allow me to deliver high-quality and flexible web solutions to clients that will match their needs and wants.
With that being said, I am a life-long learner who strives to make myself better every day. Therefore, I am open to any role in the technology and business field to gain valuable experience in my professional career.

As technologies begin to evolve, sports teams are more and more reliant on data and technologies to vastly improve their on the field performance. What are the team’s areas of improvement? What exercises should the team implement for maximum result? What tactical changes are necessary to deal with the next opponent? I believe big data and data analytics will reveal insights into those important questions facing sports teams today.
