How to Speak So People Want to Listen
This LinkedIn Learning module gave me tips to improve my public speaking skills. I can already expect this to pay dividends, having to speak to groups of residents as an RA on a semi-regular basis. This will no doubt be of even more use in my future career. Public speaking has always been a challenge for me. I tried to weather it by acting on stage in high school and facing it head on, but having these tangible changes I can make to the way I speak publicly will increase my confidence in my performance far more than just charging head on into my fear without really knowing what to change specifically.
