12th Annual Frederic Fox Lecture
On Thursday, April 19th from 5:00 – 7:30 PM, David L. Schoch spoke at The Union League of Philadelphia on \\\”How Disruptive Innovation is Changing the Way the World Moves.\\\” David graduated from Temple with a Master\\\’s degree in \\\’78, and managed the Asia Pacific and China operations of Ford Motor Company from 2012 to 2017 as group vice president, president, chairman, and CEO. Attending was extremely relevant to me, as I continue to pursue my interest in Asian Business. In addition, he spoke about current technologies impacting society, such as self-driving cars. As an MIS major, I was able to relate current course topics on Virtual and Augmented Reality to Schoch\\\’s speech. The event also began with a networking reception. I connected with current Temple peers, professors, and alumni currently working in various industries!
