World Financial Group

During summer of 2014, I worked part time at the World Financial Group Philadelphia branch as a technical support/ help desk role. My duties include troubleshooting and solving software or hardware related problems, installing and reinstalling programs, and performing backups. Other duties include setting up new hardware and routers. This job gave me experience in communicating with co-workers in terms of understanding their problems, requirement and explaining it to them in a way that, they as someone who is not as technical is able to understand. This will help me prepare for a role as a business analyst where communication between the business and technical side is important. Troubleshooting software and hardware related issues where I have to identify and figure out a solution in a timely manner so that business can resume to normal. This is important for any organizational and it has help my problem solving skills which will be beneficial in my next role.
