During the summer of 2013, I worked full time at American Outlets. American Outlets is an online wholesale distributor of locks, door hardware, washroom, accessories, lubricants, adhesives, and many other products. American outlet’s two main websites are www.padlockoutlet.com and www.americanbuildersoutlet.com.

As a Web Developer at American Outlets, I spent most of my time writing and editing CSV files that were sometimes over 10,000 lines. I also made e-mail newsletters and used SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to generate sales for the business. In addition, I updated and maintained micro-sites to encourage sales. These sites included www.lockoutsolutions.com, www.oshalockout.com, www.americanbuildersoutlet.com/blog, www.padlockoutlet.com/blog, and www.lockerlocksolutions.com. During my time at American Outlets, I also maintained and created social media pages to maintain good customer relationships.
