I partnered with Ronan Gleeson and Shawn Biju to tackle (and win) the 2018 Deloitte Case Competition. We analyzed FEMA’s problems with resource allocation and recommended an innovative technical solution with a focus on data management, financial allocation, and logistics. Our product came in the form of a Powerpoint presentation which we presented to a panel of judges. This case competition was an unforgettable learning experience that challenged and empowered me in countless ways. Through this competition, I learned how to lead a group effectively, how to brainstorm ideas and solutions to complex problems, how to design a visually appealing presentation and more. Winning this competition gave me a newfound confidence in myself and my abilities. I am excited to take part in future competitions this upcoming year!
