Atmosfi Consultant

During the summer of 2015, I interned as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Atmosfi.

What is Atmosfi?
Atmosfi is a company that specializes in customer loyalty and promotion. We help local businesses keep customers coming back by proactively engaging them through WiFi services. Additionally, we identify potential customers to increase foot traffic by utilizing promotional coupons and email marketing strategies. Atmosfi’s additional services include building and populating company newsletters, updating company websites, and providing customers with discounts to their favorite Atmosfi shops and restaurants. We provide marketing reports to our clients through data collection services and analytics to help them make more informed business decisions. The reports include a comprehensive snapshot of daily customer activity, loyalty rates, and average new customer aquisition percentages. Atmosfi has been extremely successful so far! For companies that have signed up, we have increased their customer loyalty rate by 28%.

WiFi Takeover
Atmosfi StickerI helped plan and market an event called “WiFi Takeover” held the week of October 10, 2015 (10.10.15). The event was a guerilla marketing campaign that caters to local businesses and end users. The goal of the campaign was to help local businesses increase customer traffic and realize the benefits of using Atmosfi services. To increase attendance, consumers received discounts from their favorite businesses and created connections with new local businesses. All the proceeds from the event were donated to the local Philadelphia charity Philabundance.

WiFi Takeover

Social Media Manager
Over the course of the summer I took on the role of Social Media Manager where I was responsible for coming up with a Social/Media Marketing Strategy for Atmosfi’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I posted the content at least twice a week using Hootsuite. I was also responsible for updateing the strategy document with the latest statistics based on our efforts and customer response. The aspect I am most proud of is utilizing Active Campaign in order to automate and streamline our email marketing practices.

New Customer Acquisition
In the beginning of the summer, all the interns were focused on sales efforts to gain at least 25 new Atmosfi customers. I was responsible for delivering 5-10 minute sales pitches to local businesses in industries such as restaurants, coffee shops, barber shops/hair salons, and bars. We were able to on board businesses such as S & K Salon, Suppa, Pink Dolphin, Mugshots, No Fish Hostel, and more.
