Class of 2011 Valedictorian
Archbishop Ryan’s Mathlete Team after winning the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Championship. I was proud to be a part of this team from 2009 until 2011.
I am a proud Archbishop Ryan High School alumni. I attended Ryan in Northeast Philadelphia from 2007 until 2011. I first developed my interests in mathematics and statistics there and was lucky enough to take both AP Calculus and AP Statistics with Ryan’s legendary math teacher, Sister Alice Hess, I.H.M.
I was involved with many of Ryan’s extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, through which I was an algebra and pre-calucus tutor. I also volunteered with and was a club senator for Ryan’s Community Service Club. I assisted with its food and clothing donation collections throughout the year and with its holiday gift drive and distribution projects.
