Internship at Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV)
BIDV is a large state-owned bank in Vietnam. It is well-known in Vietnam for its funding and investment projects to develop Vietnam’s economy.
In the summer of 2016, I learned the components of information system of a modern bank. I inspected the components and processes of data warehouse such as OLAP and OLTP. I gained experience in using Business Intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos to deliver static and active reports from the data in the data warehouse.
In the summer of 2017, I learned the basics about programming language and solidified my knowledge on MySQL. I also learned how to create and upload packages for IBM Cognos Workspace Advanced using IBM Cognos Framework Manager.
