- I learned about threats and how it can be someone on the inside such as employees, former employees, contractors or other business associates and not an outside hacker. Early detection can help prevent these attacks from happening. Ways of detecting an inside threat include awareness/training, user behavior analytics, data protection, security information and event management, identity and access management, and incident response plans.
- This relates to my coursework because next semester I will be taking cyber security so it would be really interesting to see how it can be managed and learn different methods to identify, detect, prevent/protect, respond to, and recover from these threats.
