Learning Genesis for WordPress
I did this Linkedin learning to improve my technology skills in using WordPress. It helped me understand WordPress better, which helped with a project I had of creating a website in my UX design class. In this course I learned what the genesis framework was, what child themes were and how to activate them, and modifying themes. The course also went over how to create a menu for the site, add a logo, as well as header and footer scripts. lastly I learned the different types of homepage setups and the different types of widgets, where they show up, and how to add them to the site.
