Preparing for an Audit
I took this linkedin learning course over winter break to get an introduction to what auditing is and to help me prepare for my audit class next semester. I learned what auditing is and what the main goals of an auditor are, the value of performing an internal audit before an independent audit, how an audit is prepared and how an office prepares for an audit, and the laws and government organizations that regulate auditing. The course also went over the four types of audit opinions: unqualified or “clean”, qualified, adverse, disclaimer of opinion, and the uses of an unqualified audit opinion.
