Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making

I completed the “Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making” LinkedIn Learning course to equip myself with the tools to dissect information objectively, separate fact from opinion, and identify hidden biases that can cloud judgment. This course is taught by Becki Saltzman, author, and founder of Applied Curiosity Lab (a training and development company that aids teams and organizations ignite critical thinking frameworks). This course teaches how to recognize logical fallacies in arguments, those misleading tricks that can lead people astray. By developing a structured framework for evaluating situations and weighing evidence, the course empowers us to make well-informed decisions, even under pressure. This newfound clarity will strengthen our ability to accurately assess people and situations and hone skills in crafting persuasive arguments. Ultimately, the course has the potential to transform us into a more confident and discerning thinker, ready to tackle complex challenges and achieve better outcomes in all aspects of life.
