I attended the Digital Leader Fireside Chat with Stacy Greiner, which was an IT webinar hosted by the Institute for Business and Information Technology. I learned the basics of organizing business functions to handle future customer journeys, especially in the digital setting. I also learned how businesses use data and analytics to curate customer journeys. For example, I learned that business functions must outline specific end goals in order to have their efforts make an impact. This relates to IT project management, as you need to utilize data and analytics to form a concrete plan to achieve your goals.
