Intro to Third-Party Risk Management
The online webinar, “Intro to Third-Party Risk Management”, was hosted by the MIS department through Zoom on January 28th, 2021. I learned about how third-party risk is classified, as well as the third-party risk environment. Specifically, I learned about the trends within the third-party risk landscape, such as growing market interest, interested board-level attention, and a greater shift towards technology and automation as opposed to manual activities. Since I am interested in technology risk consulting, this was an extremely valuable webinar, as third-party risk is a growing risk category for many organizations.
