MIS 3535 – Personal Journal Entry – Week of 10/20 – 10/24
This week my team and I worked on creating a budget for our project. We were able to create a projected budget but we ran into a roadblock creating our actual. It turns out the BAs are not completely filling out their weekly progress reports. Without the data on what they worked on, we are unable to create a schedule for the budget. As a group we have been reminding them to fill out the report, but we are not making sure it is actually completed. To solve this issue this week Michelangelo and I showed up at one of the BA meetings. We showed them how to go about filling out the progress report, and stressed that it was critical to the project.
On another note, I have received a perpetual license to Justinmind. In the most recent meeting with BAs I found out that they were having difficulty creating formulas. Next week I will hopefully be meeting with them again to see if I can clear up any trouble spots using the software.
