Chair of Community Service

I accepted my position as Chair of Community Service for the executive board of AIS in May of 2018. As of now, I will assist the Director of Events with the successful integration of AIS members and officers, MIS department and faculty, and AIS alumni on a social, professional and community level.

My duties:

1. To assist the Director of Events with planning event logistics with a focus on community service.
2. To coordinate community service events through active communication with Temple University and the local community.
3. To document workflows for efficient knowledge management.

My goals:

1. To facilitate leadership and personal growth within our members through the notion of servicing both Temple University and our local community.
2. To strengthen the relationships with community service and Temple organizations.
3. To build community relationships through technology and volunteer efforts.
4. To ensure that each member attends at least two community service events per semester.
