International Research Intern
The job role was an International Research Intern for Gauze, a global hospital database company. The tasks were to research a minimum of 200 hospitals and feed the information in the database. Apart from researching the hospitals, I also assisted in beta testing the app, by finding out different bugs or logical errors in the code as well as the database. Taking MIS 2402 and MIS 2502 courses helped me a lot in this internship, I was able to use the SQL commands that I learned in 2502 to add the information researched from the web into the database. The app was written in JavaScript, which I learned in MIS 2402 and it helped me in beta testing, looking for bugs or logical errors within the code.
