Communicating with Clarity as a Manager
The activity, a LinkedIn learning, took place on the LinkedIn website and consisting multiple short videos and quizzes. This activity focused on communication and how to effectively use it as a manager. While the video highlighted these techniques in managerial roles, the skills are not limited to those roles but can be used by anyone who works with others and teams daily. The activity helped me learn what is most effective in communication including active listening, empathy, transparency, and integrating different communication styles for different people. These are all communication skills that I will need in future roles and currently when working with others. With these skills, I can work better as a team leader and as a member.
