Taking Ownership in Your Career
This activity took place on LinkedIn. The activity consisted of several videos and sections about career development. These videos provided me with info on how to take control of my career and ideas of steps I can take now to set myself up for the future. It made me realize that while I have some professional skills, I’m not amplifying my best ones and identifying gaps that I need fill. It also reminded me of the importance and urgency I needed to continue developing my professional network. At the start of the course, I felt a little lost and not sure if I had full control of my future career, but after finishing, I now feel better and have shifted my perspective on my future now knowing the necessary steps I need to take.
