In my MIS 2502 course, I crafted a brief research report on cyberbullying prevention through Natural Language Processing (NPL). I explored the methods of using NPL to detect cyberbullying, primarily through two crucial steps: (1) Representation learning for Internet messages and (2) Classification. I found that many online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube have begun utilizing AI and NPL to detect and eliminate bullying and harassment.
