The goal for this project is to find a reliable dataset to dissect. Gun Violence is one of the scene that my team proposed to do and we found reliable source from the Philadelphia Police website. We found out where these violence usually occurs and the number of incidents per zipcodes. We also draw a graph showing the incident by race, gender and fatality.
I learned how to use Tableau and Excel for visualization and to understand the dataset better than just looking on numbers. I learned how to use different kind of graphs, charts and maps in Tableau. It taught me how to treat outliers and how we can fixed them. I learned how to make sure that data are correct and reliable.
