MIS 4596 Cleansing Big Data(Class Project)

April 22, 2019

Our project we are currently and are wrapping up on is called Cleansing Big Data. The main focus of this project is to take ambiguous data that our client has provided and build it up to the end goal or the big solutions. One key takeaway I learned while doing this project is that communication is key in a client based project and the main part of it the process when building up to the solution. As we were working on it, we met with the client and communicated every little detail including what the problem is and what they want to make sure that we’re on the same page and that what they get is what they expected the deliverable to look like. As much as technology and skills are a key thing, the biggest is having that consistent communication with our client to make sure we are understanding the problem at its fullest and we understand what they want in the end.
