Customer Service: Willowood Swim Club, Elizabethtown, PA. From Summer 2009 to Summer 2012 I worked as the Customer Service representative at a local swimming pool.  My duties included answering phone calls about membership dues, pool hours and activities, greeting and signing in members and guests as they arrived at the pool, and collecting membership, guest, and rental fees.  I learned that exceptional customer service is essential for a successful business.

Warehouse Repack Worker: School Specialty, Mount Joy, PA. Over the 2012 Summer, I worked in Repack in School Specialty’s Warehouse.  My duties included unpacking bulk supplies and repacking the supplies into boxes to be stored in the warehouse.  Excel was used to store the product information.  The summer months are the peek season for School Specialty as many students and teachers need school supplies for the upcoming school year.  Thus, I worked at a fast pace to ensure that customers received their products in a timely manner. From this experience, I learned that it is important to get jobs done quickly and correctly so that a company can run smoothly and so customers receive their orders as quickly as possible.

Childcare: Elizabethtown Fitness Club, Elizabethtown, PA.  From November 2009-March 2011 I worked at a local fitness center by supervising the children of the club’s members.  I organized games, snack time, and other activities for the children.  The childcare service was offered to members, free of cost, as an incentive to join.  It was important to keep children happy so that their parents continued to stay with the club.
