Intro to AI-assisted Text Mining in Proquest TDM Studio
I attended the workshop “Intro to AI-Assisted Text Mining in ProQuest TDM Studio,” offered as part of Love Data Week 2026. The session introduced ProQuest’s Text Data Mining (TDM) Studio as a platform for conducting large-scale analysis of digital text collections. I learned how researchers can access and explore large datasets within the platform and use its recently released AI research assistant to support text mining workflows. The workshop demonstrated how AI tools can help identify patterns, themes, and insights across large bodies of text while improving the efficiency of research and data analysis. This session expanded my understanding of AI-assisted research methods and how text mining can be used for large-scale data analysis in academic and professional settings.
