Assisting my mom in her work-from-home endeavors
Since quarantine started, I have been facilitating my mom’s Zoom meetings and troubleshooting issues with her dual monitor set up. My main goal is to take care of technical issues as quickly as possible so my mom can focus on her work. Whenever she or a meeting participant (often other attorneys, her paralegal, or her coworkers) have an issue with their audio or video, I coach them through fixing it.
This experience has led to me having a deep understanding of Zoom and its functionalities, which has led to my weekly AIS e-board and Cimmunity Engagement team meetings running a lot smoother. Also, my mom and her friends think I’m a Zoom wizard, so quarantine hasn’t been all bad.
