Helpdesk Consultant

In Spring 2020, I took on the role of Helpdesk Consultant at the MIS Coding Helpdesk. I worked with students in MIS 2402, the first coding course in the major. I greatly benefited from using the Helpdesk when I was in 2402, so I wanted to help others in the same way.

I helped students troubleshoot their code errors, gave studying advice for exams, and assisted students in completing their assignments.

This was an awesome experience because not only did it keep my coding skills fresh, it allowed me to help students succeed in a difficult course. I will be working in Technology Risk Consulting at RSM after graduation, so it was great to have my first taste of diagnosing problems and putting together a plan to solve them.
