Agile: It’s Not Just for Software

I wanted to take this course because I heard the term “Agile” countless times ever since I switched to being a Management Information Systems major. The course is by Joshua Barnes, and it talks about how Agile can be used not only in software related projects. It was also compared to the Waterfall approach, and how these two different project management methodologies differ when it comes to delivering a project. I learned how flexible “Disciplined Agile” is, and how to use it when delivering projects. How to build the project step by step, get feedback, making changes early on if needed, which leads to a better project delivery. It was very informative to me, as I am exploring and I am interested in becoming a project manager, because I got to know more about the methodologies, how the approaches are different and why one has a benefit over the other.
