Opportunity Knocks: Wisdom from Recent Grads on Jobs & Internships
I attended the Opportunity Knocks webinar, a professional development event to connect students with professionals and recent graduations who shared their experiences, challenges, and advice for new graduates or applicants in general. The webinar included a panel session where recent graduates provided tips on navigating the job search, and transitioning into a full-time position from an internship. Some of the most valuable takeaways for me personally were how to stand out to employers, and the importance of developing strong professional relationships. As someone who is graduating this May, this webinar was very informative. I would like to also include that I have attended an Opportunity Knocks event last year as well, as it is very valuable in terms of networking and directly learning from individuals who once went through what I am going through now.
