Field Data Collection & Mobile GIS: Digital Tools for Research in the Field
As someone who had experience in the GIS field, I was very excited to join this event. The workshop focused on mobile data collection tools, where new tools such as KoBoToolbox got introduced. I learned how I can use it to design and deploy digital surveys and QField, which is an application that integrated with QGIS for geographic data collection. I loved how integrated and synchronized this process can be, and it definitely strengthened my understanding of how mobile data collection applications support accurate and scalable data gathering.
