I agree Louisa! You cannot be taught to adapt to company culture and how to act/adapt towards different groups of people.I have had my seat moved several times this summer and it is important to be comfortable in your wokr environment no matter who you are around.

Hey Kayla, I agree emails are a little more challenging than I expected. In college, you don’t really send that many emails (I haven’t at least from my experience) and at my internship I am sending them constantly throughout the day. I find myself reviewing them probably too much because I don’t want to make any spelling mistakes.

Lessons I have learned during my internship that I just couldn’t learn in the classroom or from a textbook are how to adapt to my work environment and fit in with different departments/people I work with.
