If you are trying to install Oracle on Windows 7 and your SQL plus dialog disappears after you enter your login, try loading the SQL developer toolkit as described in my directions.  I have been able to access oracle successfully through the SQL Developer Toolkit even though the SQL plus application is not functional.

I have received confirmation that the Oracle client is in the Tech Center. Please log on with your access net username and password (you don’t need your MIS account).  It is supposed to be available on all the PCs. You can find the program listed under instructor software and foxes
