My most important take away from this class would be how to properly use Excel. I haven’t made any of these mistakes simply because I haven’t used Excel enough to actually make these mistakes in the first place. I think that the simplify step is the most important core value of Stephen’s 8 principles. My reasoning for this is that the purpose of data science is to convert raw data into useful information, and the only way to make that data useful is to simplify it in a way that can be understood by everyone.
