In week six I learned how to use data cubes. I learned how to aggregate data and make it easier to view and manipulate through the use of a data cube. I learned how to use pivot tables in excel as a practical data cube.

In week 6 I learned how dimensional modeling can be used and modeled to make information more accessible to business managers. We learned how to analyze a data cube and how to set up a schema that represents a data cube.

This week I learned additional SQL commands that allow us to insert data into the database. I also learned how to delete and update data in a database.

I learned how to use SQL to get useful information out of a large database. using SQL helps us to organize business data into a usable format.
