For the summer of 2014, I was fortunate enough to gain an internship with Comcast Cable performing Data Analytics for their Customer Insights team within the Customer Experience group. While with Customer Insights, my duties were to gather and interpret customer survey data that was collected by a third party. This task was performed bi-monthly and would be inserted into heat maps to track monthly progress. At month end, I used these heat maps to create an executive summary on the customer experience for the previous month. Another duty of mine was to create a macro in excel to interpret reports issued to Comcast by JD Powers & Associates. The macro’s goal was to be able to insert the raw data sent from JD Powers and have it sort essential information into heat maps, graphs, and evaluation from the last report. Once complete, this data was also transformed into an executive summary.
