As a Federal Loan collector I think good data is very important, because I rely on this information to be accurate. If I review a customer’s account and the data is incorrect, it affects the customer and other departments. Bad data will cause problems for everyone involved in the different processes.

In my profession I assist students with outstanding balances. Often the student assumes that their financial Aid and student loans are going to cover their full tuition, and when it does not they are unable to register. I work in the Finance Department and I think the Swimlanes would be the best method of analyzing the processes in my department. I found it very interesting that the amount of technical information is doubling every two years, and that before students could complete their third year of school the information is out dated.
