Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Vince Ford, SVP, Digital Strategy and Innovation, Curtis Institute of Music on The Art of Digital Transformation
The webinar took place on March 3rd via zoom and it was sponsored by IBIT. Munir Mandviwalla hosted the event with Vince Ford as the guest speaker. The speaker talked about the Art of Digital Transformation. Ford, who loves classical music and orchestra, used his industry to demonstrate how technology became a part of the Arts. His biggest concern was the lack of digitalization of the art industry. One of the platforms that were introduced to support the industry during COVID was NY PHIL +, a new platform, which launched recently. This is relatively a new way of looking at the Art industry. Therefore digital transformational projects are being used as experiments to improve the art industry. The related to my coursework and career because this presentation helps me to understand how technology can be implemented to change the world for the better.
