Information Technology Assistant
This semester I had the privilege to work alongside Professor Sclarow as an Information Technology Assistant (ITA) for a Digital systems, class of 120 students.
My primary responsibilities were to help students understand the basic concepts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I held virtual help desk hours for students with any questions about the course concepts. I also assisted the professor in evaluating assignments.
As a former student of the class, I found myself in a position where I was able to explain concepts that I struggled with grasping at first. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with a high achieving professor and help underclassmen increase their knowledge of information technology. I was able to refresh my memory and deepen my understanding of the different topics taught in digital systems.
