Interests
Fitness
Outside of school, my interests include health and fitness. I enjoy learning about the benefits of eating healthy and how it affects our mind and body. I got into working out because it has helped me challenge myself to meet weekly goals. Every time I push myself and accomplish a personal goal, I feel motivated to continue my fitness journey.
Culture and Diversity
Learning about culture and diversity helped me to develop an open mind and understand different perspectives. With my growing interest, I introduced a cultural organization in high school. All the students were encouraged to interact with others and understand the unity in diversity. My team and I conducted an annual multicultural day, where students performed various customs and traditions through dances, songs, and spoken words. Below is a picture of our senior year, with a great turnout.
Volunteer Work
I enjoy working with children and giving back. The challenge and joy while working with kids are incredibly rewarding.
