Webinar: A quick, practical introduction to KNIME Analytics Platform – May 2020
The webinar was hosted by KNIME team member, Cynthia Padillia and Data Scientist, Scott Fincher through Zoom. KNIME is a free, open-source data analytics and integration platform. Through this webinar, I was introduced to the software and its functionalities for the first time. We went through a sample data of phone plans and used decision trees to analyze user’s decisions based on certain conditions. This webinar touched all the important topics I learned in Data Analytics class, such as ELT, decision tree analysis, joining tables, filtering data, and integration. It was exciting to see the concepts I learned used by other business professionals. I found KNIME to be similar to Tableau but had many other features.
