Statistics Research Project
Over the summer I was able to help Professor Izenman with his research project. My main responsibilities included making various graphs and charts in the R program. I learned a lot from this opportunity and I was able to utilize some of the concepts I learned in Data analytics class to kick start the project. I also used another software called LaTeX which is a software system for document preparation. This software was really interesting, while working on it I saw how different yet similar LaTeX was to other programs we learn in class. With LaTeX a document preparation similar to Word but you can write code to have everything written in the style you choose. Although LaTeX is not a word processor, it’s similar to it.
