Diamond Peer Teacher
Diamond Peer Teacher – Spring 2020
I served as the Diamond Peer Teacher for MIS 2101: Information Systems in Organizations for the Spring 2020 semester. The Diamond Peer Teacher program is lead by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching at Temple University and allows approximately 30 undergraduate students to gain experience leading and teaching a course with a faculty mentor. My faculty mentor, Professor Steve Sclarow, allowed me to gain insight from the perspective of a professor. I used my skills to conduct office hours, exam review sessions, and teach a lecture on data analytics. I overcame several challenges throughout my experience, notably adapting to online classes as an affect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
