Hobbies and Interests

As a college student, I undertake a busy and active school curriculum. Being a commuter to Temple University, I manage most of time around studying and working hours on and off campus. However, when I have spare time I take advantage of the situation and enjoy two of my most biggest passions in life; Computers and Music.

Computer building and Gaming

Ever since I was a child, computers have always caught my attention. I would always find myself in front of any computing system, whether it was an old Gateway PC running on Windows 98 or a high tech remote control car, I was fascinated by how these technologies worked. When I was in 5th grade my parents gave me my first computer; it was an old hand-me-down Gateway system that I took great pride in receiving. Having this computer felt like having the world at the palm of my hands and with my new found discovery of the Internet, I was able to explore new digital worlds of existence. From that point, I’ve increased my computer skills drastically. Now, I consider myself a computer guru specifically in the computer hardware field. I always find myself researching new computing hardware technologies and keep up-to-date on some of the most recent creations by the likes of Nvidia, a main manufacturer of graphics processing units, and Intel.

Putting my computer knowledge into action, I now find myself building gaming computers from the ground-up as well as providing peers with suggestions regarding their new computers. If you have any questions regarding your computer, feel free to contact me!

Growing up at the pinnacle of the creation of new-age gaming systems, at the time of the Nintendo 64, has left me in complete awe. I think that gaming is one of the most technologically advanced creations that our society has to offer and for me, provides one of the most entertaining experiences anyone could ask for. Gaming drives technology and opens up a myriad of endless possibilities. I believe that my interest in gaming actually shaped who I am today and bettered my character. Gaming has taught me how to problem solve, work with a team, and further increased my knowledge of how a system works. I know that no matter how old I get, I will always be PC gaming and I am grateful for growing up in this technological society.

Instrumental Guitar

Music has always been a huge part of my life; it’s in my blood. Musical performance has been in my family for generations; my father, as well as several of my cousins, are professional musicians and still perform in some of the most prestigious venues in the Philadelphia area. Taking a liking to music and continuing the family legacy, I decided at the age of 12 that I would study guitar in hopes of one day being able to perform in front of a live audience. Being attuned to all different types of musical genres such as, blues, classic rock, and metal, I consider myself to be a very stylistic musician. I try and use different play styles and mold them together to create my own unique style of playing.  To this day, I play my guitar everyday and jam along to the likes of my favorite guitarist, Stevie Ray Vaughan and plan on continuing my musical journey in the many years to come!
