Fearless Project Management: Becoming More Assertive
This activity is sponsored by Ruth Pearce, and it discusses becoming more assertive as a project manager. I learned that project managers are often put in uncomfortable situations, and being brave is one of the best traits of a good project manager. Bravery is needed in project management when initiating a new idea, leading an uncomfortable conversation – like when adjustments must be made to a project that may not be completed on time, and coming up with creative solutions to solve problems. This relates to my career goals because I hope to be an example of courage and leadership in the workplace.
